Tavant aimed at Strengthening Women Leadership to Contribute to the Organization’s Growth

Tavant Technologies wished to empower their women leaders to advance their careers by breaking through existing barriers and confidently stepping into senior leadership roles. They wanted to strengthen team leadership capabilities, enabling women to lead high-performing teams and contribute to the organization’s future growth. A key focus was on developing core business skills such as effective problem-solving, decision-making, and business acumen, which are critical for impactful leadership. Additionally, they wanted to design a program which seeks to create awareness around unconscious bias and equip women leaders with the tools to recognize and overcome these challenges. By promoting big-picture thinking, the initiative also encourages a strategic and visionary approach, helping women leaders align their efforts with long-term organizational goals and drive meaningful change.

| Grand Prix: Critical Thinking for Better Decision Making 

The Grand Prix simulation was designed to enhance participants’ critical thinking and decision-making capabilities. By placing participants in a dynamic and high-pressure virtual environment, this simulation replicated real-world scenarios where they had to: 

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify actionable insights. 
  • Navigate competing and sometimes conflicting priorities to achieve predefined objectives. 
  • Balance short-term wins with long-term strategic goals, requiring a clear understanding of trade-offs and their consequences. 

The simulation encouraged participants to think on their feet, fostering a deeper understanding of how critical thinking principles could be applied to solve business problems effectively. By tackling these challenges, participants learned to make informed, data-driven decisions under uncertainty, a skill crucial for their roles in the company’s Product Development Team.

| iLead: A Simulation for you to Lead your Team Effectively 

This simulation was designed to help participants build leadership capabilities by putting them in the role of a team manager. To succeed, participants used a variety of leadership styles in response to their team member’s needs, as well as tough situations, that emerged within the simulation.

| Develop Your Business: Developing Business Acumen 

This simulation helped participants understand and practice business acumen by taking on the role of the CEO of a virtual company. Participants were expected to make decisions on pricing, production, marketing and human resource management to drive profit and achieve the organizational targets. 

| UnBias: Overcoming Unconscious Biases at Work

KNOLSKAPE’s UnBias simulation put participants in the role of a leader whose aim was to help their team and organization combat unconscious biases. The simulation enabled the leaders to realize the impact of biases at work and the need to watch out for those unconscious biases. Participants were challenged to recognize and manage their own and others’ biases at work. This especially comes in handy if you’re a woman at work, in order to deal with biases coming from others you and vice. 

| Happiness@Work: Leading Teams 

KNOLSKAPE’s Happiness@Work simulation, based on Professor Raj Raghunathan’s BAMBA© Model of Happiness, helped this program in bridging the gap between the theory and application. It equipped the participating leaders with tools to enhance happiness and boost engagement and productivity of their teams and the organization at large. 

| Design Thinking:  Driving Innovation Through Design Thinking

The Design Thinking Simulation was designed to help learners change the way they approach problems and problem solving. This simulation put learners in the role of a leader of a business who were facing severe growth concerns and challenges them to achieve rapid growth and great customer experience in a short span of time.
