The client is the largest private oil and gas exploration and production company in India, accounting for more than a quarter of Indiaโs domestic crude oil production.
The organization part of the worldโs sixth-largest diversified natural resources conglomerate with an interest in oil and gas, zinc-lead-silver, copper, iron ore, aluminum, and commercial power. The company has a presence across India, South Africa, Namibia, Australia, and Ireland.โฏย
The organization believes in empowering its employees to perform better in their roles. They wwere looking at a program to cater to their customized needs in their roles, especially in the areas of critical thinking, conflict management, stress management, and problem solving.ย
The client collaborated with KNOLSKAPE to design and execute a program aimed to empower participants, including managers and other employees, with vital skills tailored to their roles. Covering a broad spectrum, the program focused on key areas such as critical thinking, conflict management, stakeholder relations, stress management, and problem-solving. It also delved into driving transformative change, upholding values, digital leadership, and effective communication. Furthermore, it addressed financial literacy, strategic planning, transitioning from academia to the corporate world, data analysis basics, and team dynamics. It emphasized fostering the organization’s values, understanding innovation, leading high-performing teams, enhancing decision-making abilities, feedback exchange, and leadership fundamentals.ย
The program has completed 27 sessions with over 600 learners in various locations including Gurgaon, Bhramar, Suvalli, Virangham, and Ravva Sโyanam. It was facilitated by a team of 17 highly experienced instructors. The program comprised several simulations to give the participants a hand-on experience in tackling real world scenarios, albeit in a safe space.ย ย
This simulation is designed to help participants build leadership capabilities by putting them in the role of a team manager. To succeed, participants are expected to use a variety of leadership styles in response to their team member’s needs, as well as tough situations, that emerge within the simulation.ย
The feedback exchange in any organization happens up, down, and across the hierarchy. This simulation enabled participants to learn the skills of effective feedback exchange. As the leader of a team with goals to achieve, the learner needs to deliver feedback effectively and receive feedback openly.ย
This simulation helped participants bridge the gap between the theory and practice of critical thinking and decision making. Participants were required to face and work around a range of challenges using the data available to them. They also had to manage complex, and sometimes conflicting, priorities while trying to achieve the objectives given to them in the simulation.ย
There were many outcomes achieved as an impact of the simulations played during the sessions:ย

Advanced critical thinking, consistently using logic to solve problems.ย
Supporting others with empathy and constructive feedback.ย
Proficiency in giving and receiving feedback respectfully, fostering continuous improvement.ย
