A recent report by Markets and Markets predicted a growth by 67% for the gamification industry by 2018. They also predicted the industry will be valued at $5.5 billion by then.

There is no doubt that gamification is growing and slowly taking a firm spot in training and development, recruiting, onboarding and several other aspects of L&D. Gamification will soon take over several aspects of HR practice.

Gallup research projects have shown that currently, over half of employees feel disengaged at work. It is thus no surprise that HR departments are seeking for alternatives that will help re-engage employees while maintaining an alignment

Gamification is bound to become an integral part of Human Resource Management.
